About Our School:Lone Oak Middle School Flash Vision is to equip our students with the tools to conquer tomorrow’s world. We view education as a cooperative effort among teachers, students, parents and community. We are focused on developing lifelong learning skills that build a foundation for academic achievement while encouraging self discipline and self esteem. We believe that high expectations and hard work will produce excellence and success. We have a proud tradition of excellence encompassing academics, athletics, and the arts, while also preparing students to be enthusiastic, contributing members of their community. 

How We Ensure Educational Equity:We ensure equity by utilizing differentiated instruction and a variety of activities and strategies that meet the needs of students regardless of race, gender, cognitive ability, or economic background. LOMS offers intervention strategies through our Title I, Gifted and Talented, Special Education, Family Resource Center, professional development, and Extended School Service Programs including our ASAP After School Academic program.
