Turman

Mike Turman has been selected as the new McCracken County Campus Police Sergeant.  Following a competitive selection process, which included detailed interviews by both sworn law enforcement and non-sworn panelists, School Resource Officer (SRO) Turman emerged as the top candidate.  With an extensive background in professional negotiation, criminal investigation, and leadership, SRO Turman has been a highly-respected SRO in the Lone Oak community over the last two school years.  In his new role, he will serve as second-in-command for the Campus Police department, providing operational support and guidance across the district.

Chief Austin Guill foresees the district reaping great benefits from this promotion, noting that "Sergeant Turman's experience and vision for the future will undoubtedly continue the advancement of our department, and I am grateful for his willingness to serve."

Sergeant Turman possesses 34 years of law enforcement experience, having previously served police departments in the City of Murray and the greater Chicagoland area.
