“I am honored to continue serving the students, staff, and families of Reidland Elementary in this capacity,” said Bynum. “Reidland is a special place, and I look forward to working alongside our incredible educators to create the best possible learning experiences for our students.”

“Mrs. Bynum has been a vital part of the Reidland Elementary community for many years,” said McCracken County Schools Superintendent Josh Hunt “Her passion for student success and her ability to support and inspire both students and staff make her the perfect fit for this role. We are excited to see her continue making a positive impact.”

This transition follows the departure of Principal Anne Cox, who will be joining the Kentucky Department of Education as a Regional Principal Supports Leader.

The Reidland Elementary School Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council will begin working next week through the process of selecting the school’s next principal.

Bynum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree for Reading and Writing Specialist, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership with Rank 1 certification—all from Murray State University.
