McCracken County Public Schools is excited to announce the appointment of Stacy Thomas as the District Grant Writer, effective July 1, 2025.
Ms. Thomas brings over two decades of leadership, program development, grant management, and community engagement experience to her new role. Her background includes impactful work in education, business, and workforce development, with extensive expertise in grant writing, leadership & resource development, and communication.
With a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Murray State University, along with a Diploma of Theology from Christ for the Nations Bible Institute, Ms. Thomas has a strong foundation in communication, leadership, and organizational management. She is highly skilled in securing funding to enhance educational programs and opportunities for students and staff.
"I am honored to continue serving McCracken County Schools in this new capacity," said Thomas. "I look forward to working with our schools and community partners to secure resources that will support and strengthen opportunities for all students."
Superintendent Mr. Josh Hunt commented, "Stacy’s expertise and dedication to education make her uniquely qualified for this important position. We are confident she will significantly contribute to the district’s ongoing efforts to expand and enhance educational opportunities."
