McCracken County High School Senior Achieves Perfect ACT Score
Daniel Crouse, a senior at McCracken County High School, has earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. This remarkable achievement highlights Daniel’s exceptional academic abilities and sets him apart as an outstanding student.
Daniel plans to pursue a degree in chemistry or biology and has already demonstrated significant academic promise.
In addition to his academic success, Daniel is an active leader at McCracken County High School. He serves as president of the chess club and is a member of several other organizations, including the Student Government Association, DanceBlue, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and the Science Bowl. His hobbies include reading, playing chess, and running—he completed a half-marathon last spring.
Daniel is the son of Michael and Carrie Crouse.

The McCracken County Schools’ Local Planning Committee (LPC) will hold a PUBLIC MEETING on December 2, 2024, at 5:30 PM CST at the McCracken County School District’s Central Office, 300 Cumberland Avenue, Paducah, Kentucky 42001.
A Public Forum for public comments will follow at approximately 7:15 PM CDT.
This meeting is part of a series to develop a District Facilities Plan for McCracken County Schools. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

🎶 McCracken County Schools were well represented at the annual KMEA First District Honor Choir at Murray State University today! Out of 365 talented students selected from grades 5-8, 105 of them were from McCracken County.

We are thrilled to announce that Rahkaela Davis, Cheyenne Caldwell, and Donteona Shumpert, outstanding juniors from McCracken County High School, have been selected as Class XV participants in the 2024 PaxtonScholars Program!
These scholars will receive scholarships, mentorship, and resources to support their academic journey through high school and into college. Each will also be presented with an HP Pro laptop and backpack to help them achieve their goals.
