The McCracken County Public Schools District is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Crane as the new principal of Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence, making her an outstanding choice for this leadership role.
She has been dedicated to the field of education for over 17 years, beginning her career as a preschool teacher at The Gardner School. She has since served in various teaching roles at Morgan Elementary School in the Paducah Independent School District, Concord Elementary School, and most recently, Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in communication, leadership, and collaboration.
Crane holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (2007) and a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Elementary Teacher Leadership (2014) from Murray State University. Additionally, she earned a Rank 1 in Administration from the University of the Cumberlands in July 2021.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. She has served as a teacher representative on the Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) council at Morgan Elementary, a district teacher leader on Math in Focus, and a mentor teacher for the Murray State Professional Development School (PDS) program. Additionally, she has led professional development sessions on Accelerated Reader and Math in Focus and has been a cooperating teacher for both KTIP and student teachers.
Her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment has been evident in her efforts to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. She is passionate about ensuring that all students receive a supportive and enriching educational experience.
