Four McCracken Students Spent Five Days at Disney With The Gary Sinise Foundation
Last week, Disney World welcomed more than 700 families of fallen military heroes to the annual Gary Sinise Foundation “Snowball Express” event where more than 1,800 children and surviving spouses had the opportunity to bond with the only people who can truly understand their loss: one another. Four McCracken County Schools students were in attendance Atleigh Stanley (MCHS), Alaina Stanley (LOI), Nolan Pool (LOI), and Arabella Pool (HLOE). The students went to honor their fathers- Sergeant First Class Derrick Pool, Kentucky Army National Guard, and a Heath High School graduate. Sergeant Chad Stanley, United States Marine Corps, and a Lone Oak High School graduate.
