Over the weekend, the McCracken County Lady Mustangs and Marshall County Lady Marshals won big against their opponents during the Independence Bank Tip-Off Classic and the 2023 CFSB Marshall County HoopFest in their respective venues.
MCCRACKEN COUNTY 81, BETHLEHEM 62
The McCracken County Lady Mustangs bounced back after a loss, defeating the Bethlehem Banshees with an 81-62 finish. McCracken County senior Claire Johnson led the charge, posting 41 points in the contest against the Banshees to assist in the Lady Mustangs’ second win of the season.
In addition to being the game’s high scorer, Johnson set a new school record for the McCracken County Lady Mustangs. Johnson is now the school’s holder for most points in a game since the school’s inception in 2013.
