On Saturday, the McCracken County Lady Mustang wrestlers competed in the Marion Wildcat Girls Invitational in Marion, Illinois. The Lady Mustangs returned home with success in the event, placing in their respective classes.
Lakelynn Janssen won the champion title for the 125lb class. Lillie Henry finished as runner-up in the 140lb class. Abby Ellis also finished as runner-up in the 145lb class. Jillian Conn rounded out the group with a third-place finish in the 100lb class.
The Lady Mustangs will compete in the Lady Tiger Classic at Cape Central (MO) on Friday before winter break.
