McCracken County’s Landon Newman (top) came in seventh in the 190 pound weight class of the 2024 KHSAA Boys State Wrestling Championships over the weekend. He was the lone Mustang to land on the podium with teammates Benjamin Kale, James Barragan, Hunter Hawthorne and Malachi Gray all competing, but falling short in their respective weight classes. The Mustangs tallied 22 points to land in a three-way tie for 35th place.
