Well represented at the meet were the McCracken County Mustangs, as they racked up plenty of accolades across Saturday’s events. Freshman Lezharia Bolen put together a clean sweep of the girl’s sprint events, claiming the top spot in each the 100M, 200M, and 400M dashes. Similarly, James Barragan dominated in the 100 and 200M dashes, finishing in first place for both, with Ayden Hunter finishing close behind in second place for the 200M dash. Cannon Ford had an impressive afternoon, finishing second in the 110M hurdle alongside a fourth place finish in the 400M dash, while the boy’s relay team took first in the 4x200 and 4x400 events, while claiming second in the 4x800. Other first place finishes for the Mustangs include Caleb Joyce (pole vault), Jamorian Coker (triple jump), Janea Reed (shot put), and Mikee Buchanan (high jump).
