MCCRACKEN COUNTY, COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

The McCracken County Mustangs and Community Christian Academy Warriors had the nightcap at Brooks Stadium. The McCracken County Mustangs routed the Warriors in three innings in a 25-0 finish to punch their ticket to the district championship and regional tournament, where they will play host at Edward Jones Field.

Weston Miller earned the win for the Mustangs, working two innings on the mound and striking out six of six. Caden Kern appeared in relief of Miller, working an inning and striking out the side to end the contest.

Cooper Reed took the loss for Community Christian Academy. Reed worked an inning, surrendering 14 hits, 20 runs (12 earned), and four walks while fanning one of 25. Daniel Walters appeared in relief of Reed, working an inning and allowing four hits, five runs (three earned), and two walks while facing nine.

Griffin Cantrell went 2-for-2, Will Fox went 3-for-3, and Lane Grace 2-for-2. Scout Moffatt, Miller Green, Eli James, Kendrick Dunning, Andrew Farmer, Jude Farley, Noah Godwin, Casey Hawes, Gage Dugan, Tyler Chapman, and Kern each collected a hit in the win.
