With the announcement on Monday night, McCracken County’s Miller Green made history as the program’s first student-athlete to receive the title of Kentucky’s Mr. Baseball for the 2024 season by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association. Additionally, Green is the first student-athlete from the First Region to achieve the accolade dating back to 1989, when records began.

“It’s an honor to be named 2024 Mr. Baseball and an even bigger honor to be the first one at McCracken County,” Green said. “Ever since I was a little kid, I have always dreamed of playing baseball in the MLB, and getting this award just shows me that it really can be possible if I can keep my head on straight and keep moving forward in the direction I’m going.”
