The McCracken County Mustangs wrestling team stayed busy over their Thanksgiving break, as they hosted their “Beast B4 The Feast” dual meet at Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena this past Wednesday morning.
Along with the Mustangs, many programs from across the region would compete at the meet, including Caldwell County, South Warren, Greenwood, Rossview (TN), Northeast (TN), Mt. Vernon (IN), and Tecumseh (IN).
The Mustangs went 2-2 across the meet, winning in matches over South Warren (52-30) and Greenwood (54-30), while falling short against Rossview (58-24), and eventual overall winners Mt. Vernon (62-17).
Notable individual performances from the Mustangs include James Barragan’s 4-0 day, while Camryn Frieberg and Benjamin Kale each won three of their four matches.
