Tuesday night was a good one for the McCracken County wrestling program as they hosted Caldwell County and Sycamore High School out of Tennessee. Wins over both teams was good, but doing so in honor of their seniors on senior night was another.

Additionally, senior Camryn Freiberg claimed his 100th career win early in the night against Sycamore. He’s just the fourth wrestler in program history to reach 100 wins.

In the final duals contest of the night, the two Kentucky teams went at it, between the Mustangs and Tigers. McCracken County came out with the team win, putting away Caldwell County 43-29.

Helping McCracken County to the victory was a win by fall for James Walker over Aiden Graham in the 120 weight class. Benjamin Kale defeated Elijah Kirby by fall in the 132 class. Camryn Freiberg defeated Haoyang WU by fall in the 138 class. Cade Turner beat Bradley Asher with a 12-6 decision in the 157 weight class, Nash Smallwood beat Evan Ramage by fall in the 165 class, Domonique Bryant beat Jonas Martin by fall in the 215 class, Cray Harris beat Ethan Klidzejs by major decision, 20-7 in the 106 class and Nash Harris beat Trey Herron by fall in the 113 class.

For Caldwell County, Justin Klidzejs defeated Taylor Stroud by fall in the 126 weight class. Donovan Rogers defeated Royce Conn by fall in the 144 class, Jonathan Cocchi defeated Lex Holmes by technical fall, 19-3 in the 150 class. Cale Goodwin defeated Dylan Crawford by fall in the 190 class and Dawson Harris defeated Christopher Lucas in the 285 class by fall.
