The Invitational of the South marked the big kickoff to the high school track and field season Friday night at Marshall County High School. What is normally a full day of action on a Saturday, was pushed to Friday night due to the threat of weekend weather.
The McCracken County Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams both finished second in the meet.
Other notable wins came from McCracken County’s James Barragan who won the boys 200 and 400 meter dashes and teammate Cooper Falconite winning the 100 meter dash. McCracken County’s Dawson Hayden won the boys pole vault.
On the girls side of things, McCracken County’s Annaleise Ruzich won the girls 300 meter hurdles.
