Future Problem Solving

In early June, the McCracken County High School Future Problem-Solving Team had a thrilling experience at the International Conference World Finals. They competed in Team Global Issues Problem Solving, Individual Problem Solving, and Presentation of Action Plan competitions, alongside participating in activities with students from around the world.

After the initial rounds, their hard work paid off as they advanced to the Senior Division Top 10 Finals for the Presentation of Action Plan, ultimately securing an impressive 3rd place globally! Additionally, Brennen Hartman achieved a remarkable 7th place in the world for Individual Future Problem Solving.

Future Problem Solving (FPS) is an academic competition that fosters critical thinking and decision-making skills by addressing hypothetical future scenarios on topics like Air Quality, Nanotechnology, Agricultural Industry, and Global Food Security.
