🏆🎳 This past weekend at Cardinal Lanes, our Mustangs dominated the Region 1 Bowling Tournament! Friday - Singles: Cailyn Grant - 4th Dexter Pacheco 5th Riley Ramage 6th Cailyn Grant made history as the first Lady Mustang to qualify for State in the singles division, finishing 4th! Saturday - Team Competition: 🏅 Boys Team - REGION 1 CHAMPIONS! 🏆 After an incredible run, our Mustangs defeated Apollo 3-1 in the finals to claim the title! They’ll compete for the State Championship on Monday, Feb. 10 in Louisville! 🥈 Girls Team - Region 1 Runner-Up! The Lady Mustangs fought hard, defeating South Warren in the semis for redemption before falling to Graves County in a close battle. They’ll compete at State on Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Louisville! ❄️ McCracken County Schools - Winter Weather Update ❄️ Due to the forecasted winter weather for Friday, January 10, McCracken County Schools will be closed. This will be NTI Day 1. Please note: All after-school activities on Thursday, January 9 will still proceed as scheduled. Stay safe and warm!

Welcome back, Mustangs! Be aware: McCracken County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. -MCHS Doors will open tomorrow morning at 8:50 am. -MCHS Cafeteria will provide a grab/go breakfast. -Mustang Zones will run from 8:50 - 9:12 am. -Students will report to 1st hour from MZ; tardy bell for the day will ring at 9:20 am.

McCracken County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, to allow additional time for safe travel. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and there will be no morning preschool. Afternoon preschool will continue as scheduled. Grab and go breakfast will be available at all schools. Please be on the lookout for further information directly from your child’s school. Adjusted Start Times: • McCracken County High School: 9:20 a.m. • Middle Schools: 9:20 a.m. • Intermediate Schools: 10:15 a.m. • Elementary Schools: 10:30 a.m. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

McCracken County Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 6, 2025 due to the forecasted winter weather which includes hazardous road conditions, and dangerously cold temperatures overnight into Monday morning. The ongoing winter storm is expected to create unsafe travel conditions, and we are prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. This will be a traditional snow day. All classes and scheduled activities for Monday, January 6, 2025 are canceled. Please stay safe and warm.
