Make sure to register before October 4th in order to guarantee your Official Reidland Day 5K Shirt!!! Join us as we celebrate the return of Reidland Day by running in the first-ever Reidland Day 5K race and fun run!!! Bring your family and friends on the morning of October 19th and join runners as you travel through the beautiful Reidland community and around our community schools. All proceeds from the event will go directly to our Reidland area schools. Walkers and Strollers are welcome!!! 5K Entry cost is $20 and includes a shirt for anyone that preregisters by October 4th, 2024. You can register in person with cash or check at Reidland Intermedate School or online here https://www.raceentry.com/reidland-day-5k/race-information On the morning of October 19th, Registration will begin at 7:00 AM in front of the gym by front glass hallway. All runners and guests should park in the front parking lot. The race will begin promptly at 8:00 AM in the back parking lot of the school and end on the football field track. Metals will be awarded in the following categories: 15 Years and Under 16 to 30 Years 31 to 45 Years 46 to 60 Years 61 Years and Over

You can register in person with cash or check at Reidland Intermedate School or with a card online! We handed out our first round of prizes today for our Spirit Card Fundraiser!!! Remember that we are selling the cards all the way until August 30th and students and classes can earn prizes along the way! If you would like to buy a card online you can use the attached QR code to do so, just make sure you put which student you want to get credit for the purchase!!! Thank you for continuing to support RIS and our students!!!

We hope to see everyone tonight for our Back-To-School Night event!!! It will begin at 4:00 with students: A-G- 4:00-4:45 H-N- 5:00-5:45 O-Z- 6:00-6:45 Please come in through the glass doors in front of the gym and check in before going to your student's homeroom teacher and our other stations!!!

Join us for our Back-To-School Night event on Thursday, August 1st at RIS! That evening you can come and meet your teachers, drop off supplies, pay activity fees, sign up for 21st Century, get car tags, deposit lunch money for extras, talk to the school nurse, and have some fun!!! In order to prevent over crowding at any one time that evening and provide for more time with each family to talk with their student's teachers we have asked that families come at the following times: A-G from 4:00 to 4:45 H-N from 5:00 to 5:45 O-Z from 6:00 to 6:45 *If you are unable to attend at the time above for your student, that is ok you can visit at a time that works best for your family.

We have a variety of positions open including: -Part Time Afternoon Custodian (Looking for a self motivated individual to work each afternoon from 3-7 along side another custodian to help clean and prepare the school for students the next day. This position comes with full insurance and benefits included!) -Special Education Instructional Assistant (Looking for someone to join our team and work with an amazing staff and groups of students to help ensure that all of our student's educational needs are met) -4th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher (Looking for a knowledgable and loving educator to join our team that is ready to collaborate with colleagues and engage our students in Reading and Writing!) -Part Time General Music Teacher (Looking for a elementary or music educator to teach general introductory music classes to our 4th and 5th grade students.
