AP Human Geography (Mr. Williams) classes have been studying the world of food and agriculture. From the origins of ingredients to their journey of diffusion, these projects offer a captivating insight into how our favorite foods have shaped American culture. #McCrackenProud
Students were inducted in the German National Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Phi, on Thursday, March 14, 2024. To receive an invitation for the society, students had to have a minimum of 3 credits in German, a 4.0 GPA in all German courses, and a 3.0 GPA or higher for all other coursework. Students received a certificate and a Delta Epsilon Phi honor cord.

Congratulations to the Chess Team for placing 3rd at the Kentucky Chess Association State Team Scholastic Championship on Saturday, March 16! The 4-person team consisted of Ella Chuppe, Daniel Crouse, Cy Hines, and CJ Sullivan. Daniel Crouse received a plaque for winning all four of his games. Additionally, Ansh Shah came in 6th place in the alternate section. #McCrackenProud

Congratulations to McCracken County High School English Teacher Ms. Morris, Senior Haydyn Pope, and MCHS Graduate River Murt. They entered the "In Praise of Wonders and Astonishments" Writing Contest at West Kentucky Community and Technical College and won! McCracken County High School Freshman Nyla Holder represented the STATE of Kentucky at Miss Teen Volunteer America last week in Jackson TN!
She competed for 3 days: Interview, Talent, Fitness, and Gown. There were 51 girls from all over the United States, ages 13 through age 18, competing for the title of Miss Teen Volunteer America. Nyla was a Top 10 Finalist! Congratulations, Nyla! #McCrackenProud
